A beautiful plant with slender pointed, glossy white and green leaves that are perfect for softening any room. Part of the ornamental fig family, this plant has been a household favourite since the Victorian times. Plant care: A fairly easy-going plant, as long as you find a bright spot away from direct sunlight, not close to a heat source like a heater and away from any draughts it will be happy. Once it has found the right place in your home, try not to adjust it much, as they donèt like to be moved. Water with tepid water when the top half soil is starting to dry out on the surface, but don't let it dry out completely. During the winter you should reduce the watering. Mist the leaves in the summer months, and use liquid fertiliser during the growing season.
